In terms of budget, I changed the sorting tier wise - top to bottom which here it is - High > Medium > Low.

The user requested the ability to manually create their itinerary and also use an AI assistant for automated suggestions on the same page. To improve accessibility, I redesigned the itinerary section to include an editable text field and added a floating "Co-pilot/Travel AI" button on the bottom-right of the screen for easy access to the AI features.

I asked a few users to test the low fidelity prototype and made some changes based on their feedback. See below the results of before and after user testing.
The user feedback helped me refine the designs & the key improvements are:
Enlarged buttons for better accessibility.
Redesigned itinerary sections for ease of use.
Introduced a floating “+” button for adding destinations seamlessly.
Usability issues identified. Changes made to buttons, layouts, for better functionality.
Designed low-fidelity wireframes to prototype core functionalities such as booking, comparing trip ideas, bugdet, etc., budget planning, and itinerary management.
Conducted usability tests to gather feedback and iterated on the designs to improve clarity and accessibility.

Q: How do you currently track your travel expenses related to trips? Are there any specific features you wish these tools had?
A: Don’t track much, however this will be an useful feature to have.
The interview provided me with great inputs in the problem areas related to travel experiences. I learned about the pains and needs related to their travel experiences.
